The square tube is rolled from strip steel through process treatment. Generally, the strip is unpacked, flattened, coiled, welded to form a round tube, and then rolled into a square tube from the round tube and then cut to the required length. Widely used in machinery manufacturing, construction, metallurgical industry, agricultural vehicles, agricultural greenhouses, automobile industry, railways, highway guardrails, container skeletons, furniture, decoration and steel structure fields.
There are many types of square tubes, and wear and tear will inevitably occur during their use, handling and transportation. So how to avoid the wear of the square tube?
Methods to avoid wear during use:
1. The square tube packaging should be able to prevent loosening and damage during normal handling, transportation and storage.
2. If the buyer has special requirements for the packaging materials and packaging methods managed by the other party, they need to be specified in the contract. If not marked, the packaging product and packaging method are selected by the supplier.
3. Packaged products need to meet relevant requirements. If the packaged product is not specified, it needs to be suitable for the intended primary use to prevent waste and cause air pollution.
4. It is stipulated that the square tube should adopt the method of bulk weighing. If the customer needs a baler, it can be handled appropriately, but the size should be between 159MM and 500MM. The material of the baler should be packed with steel strips and firmly fixed, and each channel should be twisted into double at least Strands, and properly lift according to the diameter and net weight of the square tube to avoid slack.
5. If there is a fillet on both sides of the square pipe, external thread protector is needed for safety protection. Brush grease or anti-rust oil on the fillet, and for the cracks on both sides of the square pipe, the branch pipe safety protector can be added on both sides as required.
Methods to avoid wear and tear during loading, unloading and transportation:
1. The quality of the square tube should be checked before loading, as well as the standard parameter requirements, whether the length, wall thickness and material of the square tube made meet the corresponding construction requirements.
2. The square tube should be loaded according to the load, so as to prevent the diameter of the square tube from being damaged by a crane or a crane during the loading process.
3. The anti-corrosion or insulating square pipe depends on the quality of the lower surface and whether the inner wall is dry, so as to avoid the situation that the anti-corrosion coating is not completely dry.
4. Find a suitable vehicle according to the length of the square tube when loading, so as to avoid problems during the transportation of the vehicle.
5. Fix the square tube after loading to avoid friction or sliding during transportation, which will wear the square tube.
