SSAW steel pipe is a steel pipe with spiral seam, which is made of strip steel coil as raw material, extruded at regular temperature and welded by automatic double-wire double-sided submerged arc welding process. It is mainly used in water supply engineering, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, electric power industry, agricultural irrigation, urban construction, etc. So what do you need to pay attention to when installing SSAW steel pipe?
1. After leveling the sand, tamp it with a flat vibrating tamper. The levelness, elevation, thickness, width and compactness of the sand bedding layer must meet the design requirements. SSAW steel pipe can be devolved only after acceptance.
2. Water supply pipeline project with SSAW steel pipe, pipe fittings and other materials should comply with the provisions of the current relevant national product standards and design requirements, and has the factory certificate of conformity. Materials shall not contaminate water quality.
3. SSAW steel pipes and pipe fittings should be lifted using a sling or special tools. They should be handled lightly. During transportation, they shall be firmly filled and fastened and shall not collide with each other. The internal and external anti-corrosion layer of the interface and pipe should be protected.
4. After checking the bottom of the tank, the SSAW steel pipe should be lowered immediately after checking the position of pipe joints and fittings. Truck crane should be used to lower the pipeline. When lowering the pipe, care should be taken to keep the socket direction consistent with the pipe installation direction. At the same time, a working pit should be dug at each interface. The size of the working pit should be suitable for the convenient installation of pipe joints.
5. When placing the pipe, two steam cranes should be used to hang the ends of the SSAW steel pipe, and wrapped with high-strength nylon tape spiral steel pipe body, and slowly put down to the base tank. Under the pipe shall not pad wood, stone. In order to prevent damage to the anti-corrosion layer on the SSAW steel pipe, SSAW steel pipe must be placed in the center of the pipe trench.
6. The crane should be directed by specially designated personnel. The lifting speed should be uniform, the rotation should be smooth, the descending speed should be low, the crane should not rush, slow or sudden brake. When installing the construction, SSAW steel pipe should be slotted and all relevant personnel should be invited to check the slotting in time. The next step can only be carried out after the bottom of the tank is qualified. If the soil foundation at the bottom of the tank does not meet the design requirements, the design, supervision unit and ground investigation department should be contacted in time to study the foundation treatment measures together before proceeding to the next process.
