LSAW steel pipe is a pipe material produced by pressing (rolling) the steel plate in a mold or a forming machine into a tube blank, using a single medium and thick plate as a raw material, and using double-sided submerged arc welding and expanding the diameter; its finished product has a wide range of specifications. The toughness, plasticity, uniformity and compactness of the weld are good, and it has the advantages of large pipe diameter, thick pipe wall, high pressure resistance, low temperature resistance and strong corrosion resistance.
LSAW steel pipe raw material selection:
1. According to the requirements of the LSAW steel pipe produced, reasonably select the steel type, specification, allowable deviation and production method of the required raw materials;
2. The welding performance of LSAW steel pipe raw materials;
3. The raw material of LSAW steel pipe has no internal and external surface defects;
4. The steel belt is flat, without shovel curve, crest and sickle-like bending;
5. The LSAW steel pipe is neatly and firmly packaged, without loose reels and towers;
6. For the same batch of tapes for LSAW steel pipes, the furnace number and batch number should be distinguished for steel and steel number.

1. The steel pipe has a longitudinal weld, and the inner and outer welds are welded by a submerged arc welding;
2. After the overall mechanical expansion treatment, the internal stress of the steel pipe is small and evenly distributed, which can effectively prevent stress corrosion cracking, and has high dimensional accuracy, which is convenient for on-site welding construction;
3. Using the process of pre-welding and fine welding, the welding process is stable and the welding seam quality is high;
4. The welding seam is easy to realize the non-destructive inspection in the production process and the non-destructive inspection in the field during the use process;
5. The product has a wide range of specifications, which can produce steel pipes with small diameter and large wall thickness as well as large diameter and large wall thickness.
